The Look
What Landmark Looks Like and Who It Suits
Landmark is the dimensional, wood-shake-inspired profile that set the pattern for CertainTeed's architectural shingles. Its two laminated layers create staggered shadow lines that read as depth from the street, a noticeable step up from flat three-tab shingles, and a natural fit for the colonials in Dublin, the capes and Tudors in Upper Arlington, and the newer two-stories filling in around New Albany and Westerville.
It suits homeowners who want a proven shingle with strong published ratings and no premium-line markup. Its Class 3 impact rating and 110 mph wind rating suit Central Ohio's spring storms, and it carries a UL Class A fire rating.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Class 3 impact rating actually mean?
It is the shingle's score under UL 2218, a standardized test that drops steel balls of increasing size onto the shingle to simulate hail. Ratings run from Class 1 to Class 4, with Class 4 the highest. Class 3 is a solid rating for typical Central Ohio weather.
How is Landmark different from Landmark PRO?
Both are dual-layer architectural shingles with the same UL Class A fire rating, UL 2218 Class 3 impact rating, and 110 mph wind resistance. Landmark PRO is a heavier laminate, comes in CertainTeed's Max Def color palette with richer blends, and carries a 30-year StreakFighter algae-resistance warranty from CertainTeed instead of 25 years. We price both on your estimate so you can see the difference in real dollars.
Who handles the manufacturer coverage on my shingles?
