Terms of Service

These are the terms for using matchworkroofing.com, requesting an inspection, and paying an invoice online. The work itself is always governed by the written agreement you sign with MATCHWORK™ Roofing & Exteriors.

Agreement to these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by MATCHWORK™ Roofing & Exteriors LLC. What this website is for

The site describes our services, explains how roofing and exterior work is done, and helps you request an inspection or pay an invoice. The articles and guides are general education for homeowners. They are not a quote, an inspection of your home, or legal or insurance advice.

Every price we give comes from an inspection of your home and a written proposal. Prices, products and availability can change. Product descriptions and specifications come from the manufacturers and can be checked on their websites. Building code references are accurate to the best of our knowledge when written, and your local building department has the final say.

Requesting an inspection

Submitting the Request an Inspection form or joining the mailing list is a request, not a booking. We will confirm a date and time with you by phone or email. You agree to give us accurate contact information and not to submit requests on behalf of someone who has not asked for one.

Your project agreement comes first

The scope, price, schedule and terms of any work we do for you are set out in the written proposal and agreement you sign. If anything on this website differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls. Nothing on this website changes it.

Paying an invoice online

The Pay Your Invoice page uses Stripe, a payment processor, to accept bank account payments. When you pay online:

  • You authorize Stripe to debit the amount you enter from the bank account you choose.
  • Bank payments take 4 to 5 business days to clear. Your invoice is credited when the payment is confirmed, not when you submit it.
  • Please submit each payment once. If you are not sure a payment went through, call us before paying again.
  • Online bank payments are limited to $10,000 each. For a larger balance, make two payments or call us.
  • Card payments are made through the Stripe payment link in your emailed invoice. The card processing fee appears as its own line on that invoice, at its exact cost, with no markup.
  • A payment returned by your bank for insufficient funds or a closed account will be charged back to your invoice, together with any bank fee we are charged.

Refunds and billing questions are handled under your project agreement. Call (614) 741-1393 or email us first and we will sort it out quickly.

Our name, logo and content

The MATCHWORK™ name, logo, website text, photographs, drawings and reports are the property of MATCHWORK™ Roofing & Exteriors LLC. You may read, print and share pages of this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our photos, text or name for another business, or present our work as your own. CertainTeed, ShingleMaster and CertainTeed product names are trademarks of CertainTeed and are used here to identify the products we install.

Using the site responsibly

  • Do not use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the site.
  • Do not try to get around any security feature, or interfere with the site, our forms or our payment page.
  • Do not submit false, misleading or abusive content through our forms.
  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, such as manufacturer pages and the Ohio Administrative Code. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

What we do not promise about the website

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and the site available, but we provide the website as is. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or free of interruptions. To the extent Ohio law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that come from using or being unable to use this website. These limits apply to the website only. Your rights under your signed project agreement and under Ohio consumer law are not affected.

Ohio law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its effective date, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
