This website, matchworkroofing.com, is operated by MATCHWORK™ Roofing & Exteriors LLC, a residential roofing and exterior contractor based in New Albany, Ohio and serving Columbus and Central Ohio.

Information you give us

We collect information only when you choose to share it with us:

Inspection requests. The Request an Inspection form asks for your name, phone number, email address, property address and a short message about your roof.
Mailing list. If you join the mailing list we keep your email address.
Calls, texts and emails. When you contact us we keep the conversation so we can follow up on your project.
Project records. If you hire us we keep the details needed to do the work: photos and measurements of your roof and exterior, your written proposal and agreement, claim paperwork you choose to share with us, invoices and payment records.

Payments

Online payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. When you pay an invoice, you enter your bank or card details directly with Stripe. We never see or store your full account or card number. Stripe sends us a confirmation along with the name, email address, invoice number and property address you entered so we can credit the right invoice. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically

This is a simple informational website. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics scripts on it, and our pages do not set tracking cookies. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages and delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, those providers keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and performance. Cloudflare may set a cookie that helps protect the site from automated abuse.

How we use your information

To respond to your request and schedule an inspection.
To prepare your estimate, proposal and agreement, and to do the work you hired us for.
To send invoices and receipts and to record your payments.
To document your roof and exterior with photos so you and, when you ask us to, your insurance company can see the condition of the home.
To send seasonal roof and home reminders if you joined the mailing list.
To keep the business records Ohio law and our accountants require.
To keep this website and our accounts secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or email address with other companies for their own marketing. We share information only with the people and services that help us serve you:

Service providers. The form service that delivers your inspection request to our inbox, Stripe for payments, our email, scheduling, estimating and photo-documentation tools, and our accountants. They may use your information only to do that work for us.
Your insurance company. When you ask us to help with a storm claim we share our photos, measurements and estimate with your insurance company and adjuster.
Manufacturers and suppliers. When we register the products installed on your home with the manufacturer, the registration includes your name and property address.
Crews working on your home. The installers on your project receive the address and the job details they need, nothing more.
When the law requires it. We will share information if a court, a permit office or another authority lawfully requires it.

Photos of your home

Photos are how we document a roof before, during and after the work. We may show photos of finished work on this website and in our marketing. We crop out house numbers, street signs and anything that identifies the address. If you would rather we not use photos of your home, tell us and we will not.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number we may text you about your inspection, your schedule or your project. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text from us and we will stop texting you.

How long we keep it

We keep inspection requests and conversations as long as we are working with you. We keep project records, agreements, photos and payment records for as long as the work, our business records and Ohio law require. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by replying to any email or by emailing us.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records that the law or an open project requires.
You can ask us not to use photos of your home.

Children

This website is for homeowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use well-known providers with strong security practices, we limit who on our team can see your information, and payment details never touch our systems. No method of storing or sending information is perfect, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
